Protecting Your Information
We take reasonable measures to protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration and destruction. All campaign contributions will be processed through PayPal® and will be protected by their security protocols and procedures.
The Karla Cisneros Campaign will not sell or rent your personally identifiable information to anyone. We may share generic, non-personally identifiable information with third parties (such as usage data or visitor statistics), but we will not share your personally identifiable information with any third party outside of the Campaign except:
- As necessary to (1) process and report campaign contributions in accordance with the law, (2) publish your endorsement, if any; (3) fulfill your requests for products or services; and (4) provide information to vendors, consultants and other service providers, and volunteers who need access to such information to carry out the work of the Campaign;
- If we reasonably believe that disclosure is necessary to (1) protect or defend the rights, property or safety of campaign participants, the users of this website, or the public; or (2) comply with a legal requirement or process, including but not limited to, civil and criminal subpoenas, court orders or other compulsory disclosures or if such information is otherwise requested by federal, state or local law enforcement officials or agencies; or
- You otherwise consent to our sharing such information. Your providing information after we have placed notification on the website that such information will be shared in a particular manner will constitute consent.
